“Art Is A Line Around Your Thoughts” Klimt

My work is inspired by the lines of nature and man, working through everyday scenes, confounding expectations  Stripping back cityscapes to create lines and blocks of colour ,outlining the influences  man has over our environment and vista of the skyline. The seascapes endorse natures natural lines in a constantly changing environment, seeking to elicit emotions that allows the viewer their own  journey to get lost in the subjects. The strokes from either the brush or the pallete knife are the bases of my work. The colour and shades create the composition.
