Founded by the glover family, kay’s first restaurant opened its doors in 1979. We’ve now grown to eight store locations keeping our tradition of delicious locally sourced food homemade every day for you to enjoy instore or order online.
Since opening its doors, the business had always stayed true to its founding philosophy: buy local when and where we can, use our skills as trained chefs and caterers to compete and always respect the customers who provide us our living.
When talking with one of the long term regular customers one morning over a nice cup of coffee and a scone, she remarked, “i love coming here after the kids have been dropped off at school. The craic at eleven o’clock in the morning can be like a good pub at 11 o’clock at night.”
